Online Virtual Robot Programming, Design, and Showcase Badge for Girls, Girl Scouts (KG - 1st Grades)

Girl Scouts can learn to program a virtual robot and will work towards their robot programming, Design, and Showcase badge. By completing this course Girl Scouts KG - 1st grades, can qualify for a robotics badges. THIS IS A FREE PROGRAM BUT MINIMUM 5 STUDENTS ARE NEEDED FOR THE SESSION.

What will you learn?

Meet an industry mentor and hear their STEM journey story! Learn about STEM careers!
Girls will learn how to design and program to control and drive robots, speed racers, self-driving cars towards their robotics badges! No prior experience necessary!
Badges can be purchased separately. This course will be taught online via zoom, by youth mentors from Education Empowers Inc. and experts from tech industry, who will be joining to share their STEM journey.

Dates/Time: Various. Please see below. Please note that the event will be cancelled/rescheduled if there are low registrations.

Upon completing this registration form, parents will receive a zoom link to join in real time. Parents will need to be present for the first 15 -20 minutes to assist with login and screen setup.

Location: Online video conferencing Zoom or Webex platform with security features.

Technology Required: Please note this program requires internet access, a PC or MAC, or Chromebook with the latest Chrome browser and a minimum 64 bit CPU and 4 GB RAM (8 GB preferred).
